The idea of the "perfect woman" has changed so much over the years. In today's society most people when thinking about the ideal person; their looks are the first things that comes to mind, which is contradictory to what God's word says. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. For this is the way of the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands. 1 Peter 4:3

Rise early, before you need to
She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household. Proverbs 31:15
There is something about starting your day early, and doing small things to help others. Whether it be to clean up the house or make breakfast, getting things done early leaves you ready to face the day.
Get to work
She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands. Proverbs 31:13
So many people today stray away from work. If we learn to embrace the hard work, it is SO REWARDING. We have been created to work. Therefore, stop treating your work as the enemy, but work with willing hands. Set meaningful tasks. Be intentional.
Be willing to search for the best
She considers a field and buys it, with the fruit of her hands, she plants a vineyard. Proverbs 31:16
Work hard, with discernment; don't throw yourself into just any task. Remember to weigh the pros and cons of a situation.
Remember the poor
She opens her hand to the poor, and reaches out to the needy. Proverbs 31:20
Seek out the needy and serve with open hands. These actions and thoughts shouldn't be an afterthought, but a foundational part of her life. I don't think this means you have to do community service all the time, not that, that isn't great; but I think it is more the idea of when you see a need, help. We are commanded to love one another.
Know where you are going
She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is clothed in scarlet. Proverbs 31:21
We should focus on the long term needs, and trust that God is in control. Place your lives in His hands.
Remember what matters in life
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Proverbs 31:30-31
Above all else, fear the Lord, and keep your eyes fixed on the goodness of God. pursue His word, and set an example to others.

I have been so incredibly blessed with some AMAZING women in my life, that I feel live these things out daily. I would not be who I am today without them, and I am so appreciative of everything they have done for me.
