This week Laramie and I have grown so much in our relationship with one another, as well as our relationship with our Father.

He continually amazes me with how much he WANTS to grow in his faith. This past week has flown by, just caught up in the busyness of life.

It is so important to take time, to make time, to spend with God, fellowship with friends, and be in His Word. I love that Laramie understands this, and pushes me not only to do this with him, but pursue it on my own as well.

We had the opportunity this week to write scriptures, prayer, and pray over a family's house; and the following day, help them paint. That night, person after person had nothing but good things to say about Laramie,

which just reassured me even more about the kind of man he is. One guy even saying that he hopes his daughter marries someone like Laramie; and the mother of the household saying what an amazing influence on her kids that he is. It warmed my heart so much to hear all of these beautiful things people had to say, and that they could see the same things that I see in him.

The next day we went to paint the house, and it was such a fulfilling experience to help and spend time with this young family. They are another great example of what a Godly household looks like, and putting the Word into action, and I am so thankful that we have that. Being away from home, I definitely miss that kind of fellowship, so it was a great experience.

The same day, we took a trip to Forth Worth, and went to Barnes and Nobel, Summit, Rusty Taco, and Central Market... busy day to say the least.

Laramie had mentioned that he wanted to find a book for us to read about setting boundaries in our relationship, and how to really build that foundation on Christ in our relationship. I have longed for someone to take this kind of initiative in a relationship, and it is sort of surreal to me. He is truly a gift from God.

Later we went rock climbing at Summit... something I had been dreading a little.

Laramie of course jumped up the wall like a monkey, and I loved watching him climb. He was so good at it, (MUCH better than I was) he loved it. ...I however, struggled a lot. The height freaked me out a little, and I was scared to try some of them... a lot of them. I wasn't sure of how he was going to react to me being afraid to try something. But he was not quick to anger, or complaining, instead just helped me along, and did not push me to do anything. This may seem like a small insignificant gesture, but I was greatly appreciative of it.

I enjoy writing about these small adventures and steps we take in our relationship, so that one day we can look back and see how far we've come, and remember some good memories.

The past few months have shown me that being in obedience to God, leads to a life full of blessings. Don't be afraid to follow His voice. ...Make His voice the loudest.
