Everyone is called.
I think a lot of people my age expect to go to church, and experience some miraculous revelation and have all of their problems solved. While amazing and beautiful things happen in the church, most of the callings that we hear, are heard in private.
My life is His.
In Hebrew, the word Hineni (הנני), means "here I am, send me!" Moses used this at the burning bush, which shows his faith in trusting God wherever and whatever that may be. Moses responded to God in a "who me??" kind of way, after letting his insecurity in speech get to him. However we can clearly see through his story that when God calls you to do something, He also equips you, supplying your every need (Philippians 4:19). People respond to God in several ways, just depends on your personality, and outlook on life. Whether it's running away like Jonah, asking for a sign like Thomas, comparing someone else's call to your own like Peter, or being stuck in the past, looking back like Lot's wife. Sometimes His call is scary because we are looking at it from an earthly view, while He has a heavenly view.

I am striving to be a "move maker" when it comes to my responding to God. Being characterized by faith, and going when He says go, or staying when He says stay. Like the disciples, Noah, David, etc. dropping everything and going, being moved by His presence.
Most of the time He is going to call us before we are ready. Most likely we will have a revelation of what we feel God is calling us to do before we have a realization of what He is actually going to do... so saturate yourself in His word. Most of your walk will and should be done in private. What we do in private becomes magnified in our public everyday lives, and reading, studying, and being immersed in His presence will make that the only thing that flows from your lips.
It's okay and perfectly normal to be uneasy about His call. However they way in which you respond speaks volumes about your faith. When we feel overwhelmed, that's when we see His power, holding our hand, giving us the tools we need. In these times it's important that we draw so near to him, that we can hear His whisper.
Make His voice the loudest and the one you are most sensitive to.
Chloe , expressions of faith like this only comes from spending time with the ONE that gifts us with faith! I am so inspired and full of joy when I read your posts 🥰
My most fervent prayer has always been for my children and grandchildren to love Yahuah with their all ...thank you for showing the fruit of that prayer! Love you 😘
